I am a computer engineer with over 20 years professional experience in development, management, systems, networks and security.

 I have been involved with some open source projects since the late 1980's, but I have never been a large player in that arena.

 Most of my activity has been in the private sector, especially in banking, industry and telecoms.

 I am presently Director of Information Security at Oblog Consulting, a company owned by Grupo Espírito Santo.
