About the Author

 I am Julião, aka Carlos Julião Duarténn, aka a lot of other different names. This is my website.

 I am still fat and somewhat ugly; I'm also still younger than you expect, altough time does pass by us.

 I am a computer engineer by trade and by choice. If I had been born in other times I would probably have either been a monk or been burned up at the stakes. You decide.

 My professional interests include distributed computing, hybrid systems, security and cryptography.

 My personal interests range from wine to sci-fi to compared religion. You don't really want to know.

 I am still very much commited to my future second marriage, I'm still making no comments regarding children (altough I do have one :)), and I still live in Paço de Arcos, Portugal.
